Webster Hall Security Assaults Performer
Last night in NYC’s Marlin Room Webster Room, security assaulted the headlining artist. While the incident did not happen in the 2nd Floor Grand Ballroom where the DJs make headlines, but being music fans in general, it is important to note that events like this have repercussions. massive across all genres, not just the one involved. Although the assault involved a rap singer Skating MaloleyIt reminds us too much of past episodes of overzealous security.
FYERthe tour manager was assaulted with a knife Backcountry festival, Get was stolen at gunpoint last March, and more than once, Carnage was wrongly accused of inciting riots.
Regardless of the cause or who is involved, it is incidents like these that cause the police to go too far to control âevent riskâ. Take a look at this ridiculous legislation being proposed in Philadelphia.
A fan filmed everything, but beware, the images are quite violent. Watch the clips below and hear Skate Maloley’s apologies to his fans.
