“That stetson might have bought you
A night in Abilene
I bet you knew how to sell that smile
Down in New Orleans
Any girl would go crazy
If they saw you in Cheyenne
With just a hey honey they would be
In the palm of your hand

You could spread that charm from town to town
But once you’ve tasted it, you’ll want to settle down

‘Cause I’m not a stop
Truck and trailer leaving with the sun
You think you will but you won’t forget me
As fast as horses run
There’s no first place, behind closed doors
Rope me then let me go
Yeah you could be a cowboy
But I’m not a One Night Rodeo…”

“I got lucky and was able to help string it together and have a big hit with two snipers, Dallas Remington and Kasey Tyndall,” shared co-writer Mark Narmore.

“In March 2020 my band and I performed at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. The next morning, the Covid pandemic put an end to the rest of the rodeo. After I got back to Nashville, I thought, “We had a One Night Rodeo.” I immediately wrote that, knowing that it had to be a song. I passed the idea on to my friends Mark and Kasey via Zoom, and the rest is history. Of all the songs I’ve written over the past two years, I always come back to this one as one of my favorites. I’m so excited for the world to hear it! Dallas Remington exclaimed.

Does a Cowboy Casanova finally meet his match in this new Dallas Remington single? It seems like every girl these days wants to find herself a cowboy. Dallas Remington is no exception to this, but it has a message for all cowboys. “You may be a cowboy, but I’m not a One Night Rodeo”.
