Jennifer Lopez recently became outspoken about the lockdown life, as well as concerns about her career. The 51-year-old artist opened up alongside Maluma in the latest issue of Billboard. During the interview, Jennifer was asked how the last few months have been, to which she replied, “Being home and being with the kids. [12-year-old twins Emme and Max] was truly a special moment. We have to do things that we never do, ”she said.
“One of the fears of performing artists is, ‘If I stop, it’ll go away,'” she continued. “And that’s not the case. You have to have a little more confidence in yourself and know that when you’re ready to release the next album, even if it takes two years, it’s fine. You need to make time for the things that matter: your kids, your family.
If you haven’t seen it, Jennifer will be getting a big prize next month. The Waiting for Tonight music superstar and Hustlers actress, 51, will be honored with “The People’s Icon” at E! People’s Choice Awards, the producers revealed on Wednesday, September 30. The 2020 E! The People’s Choice Awards will air from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. On Sunday, November 15.
